Product DescriptionThe York is a traditional covert style overcoat made with a traditional tweed pattern. It has been a staple of the fashionable upper class for decades and has rightly become an iconic piece. It is a style classic and a must for any discerning gentleman’s wardrobe. The tweed is of a traditional design reminiscent of country pursuits. The York ladies tweed coat in brown is designed to be worn comfortably over a suit or blazer. It is therefore traditionally associated with formal outings but the style is increasingly used for smart casual and informal occasions. The strident brown tweed pattern is made from pure new wool making it warm, comfortable and strong. This has the additional benefit of a Teflon coating making it water repellent and giving it further durability. The coat has two deep side flapped pockets that are trimmed to match the soft brown contrasting Alcantara collar. The York has a lightly fitted silhouette that will compliment any body shape and is fully lined for superior comfort. It has a single vented back for ease of movement. The York coat is an affordable, timeless and practical piece that will be a versatile staple of any wardrobe for many years to come. The smart, flattering York jacket has a back length varying from 34” to 37” and we offer it in sizes XS to 2XL.
