Product Description

Throughout history, wool has been used as a vital fibre for clothes, and it is still widely used today, despite the availability of more complex, synthetic alternatives. Wool is natural, and a naturally insulating material. It’s also elastic, and light yet strong, and helps you to stay warm or cool as the changing temperature demands. As for tweed, it’s no longer considered conservative and has graced catwalks in London, Milan and Paris in recent years. It’s also available in more colours and fabrics than ever before.

Our elegant, timelessly classic ladies’ York ladies' tweed brown coat is made from pure new wool with Teflon coating and Alcantara trims. Its versatility makes it suitable for a range of occasions, and this restrained, tasteful garment will see you through several winters. In smart light brown with a discreet checked design, it will go with whatever you are wearing underneath it. The collar is darker with a suede-like feel.

With a single vent on the back, there are two front pockets and three dark brown buttons down the front.

This coat is available in sizes 8 to 20, and back length varies from 34” to 37”.
