Myth #2: Leather Is Really Hot In The Summer
Truth: Real leather is breathable, and adjusts more quickly to changes in the weather than any other material. Even in the hottest summer, a leather jacket won’t leave you gasping for air. It’s once you start introducing thick sheepskin linings that leather jackets get really warm.
In short, leather jackets are warm in the winter, but cool in the summer.
Myth #3: Leather Can’t Be Cleaned
Truth: Whilst it’s true that leather is much more difficult to clean than most fabrics, and that there are various precautions you may need to take depending on the type of leather you’re looking to clean, it is possible.

This is not true. Most of the problems associated with the durability of leather can be accounted to the overabundance of faux leather jackets that are readily available. Cracks and peeling are much more common in a faux leather jacket than the real thing. As long as you look after your leather jacket, it can remain in top shape for years and years.
